Profile Drs. Hans Koning TIIM (1962)
Hans Koning is an internationally experienced and focused adviser, entrepreneur, informal investor, interim manager, prolific reader (alphabetical order). Hans loves the idea that sharing = multiplying. As Seth Godin once said, “Ideas in secret die. They need light and air or they starve to death”.
After having worked in healthcare, Hans changed careers and since 1993 works in the business environment. Where ever he goes, whatever he does, moving, shaking and shaping will always be part of what he is and does. An international career has allowed Hans to work in many industries, including telecom, petrochemical, banking, insurance, leisure and hospitality, real estate, logistic and transportations, healthcare and non-profits in America, Asia, Australia, Europe and the Middle East. Hans has an interest and in-depth knowledge of internet, new media, digital health, Smart City and Living, EdTech, FinTech and emerging technologies. He likes anything that is disruptive, out of the box and anything and anyone that is “odd.”
Having worked as an innovator, strategist, visionary, management consultant, strategic advisor, business developer or simply managing a company, Hans considers himself to be comfortable with any and all challenges thrown at him.
